Collingwood

Only a few short years ago being a Collingwood fan was easy. You went to the footy, watched your team lose, then spent all day Monday at work talking loudly about how the umpires had robbed you. Easy. And having such a complete scapegoat in the umpires, Collingwood fans were distracted from the fact that first-class knobs like Eddie McGuire and Joffa were hijacking their club.

But what do you do when the umpires start going your way (except, of course, in the Brownlow voting)? What do you do when instead of going to the footy to scream at the umpires you end up sitting in the stands while your team rolls out another 70 point winner? Well, how about getting rid of your premiership coach and putting in an untried former champ?  It worked when you axed Leigh Matthews for Tony Shaw, so how can it fail now?

So to all Collingwood fans - relax. The glory days of noble losses and 'robbed' wins is almost back upon you. And just in time before you start to realise that your club has done far more for Eddie than he has ever done for you.

Want to win a copy of 'Joffa: The Movie'?  Simply tell us in 100 words or less who you would rather sit next to at the footy and why - Joffa or Eddie.  Entries close the start of the next round. We have 3 copies to give away so the 3 best answers as judged by Dazza win.  Good luck!!!

  1. I'd probably sit next to Eddie - Joffa looks like he'd make me pay for my own chips.
